EXPERIENCE SUMMARY Nicole has a background in environmental planning, environmental management/NRM and workplace training in these areas. She has worked as a consultant for 15 years with a wide range of industry sectors including government, resources, education and infrastructure.
Nicole has previously developed and delivered training modules on environmental compliance, environmental management practices, sustainable workplace practices, sustainability case studies, policy and the business case for sustainability. Delivery methods have included facilitated community workshops, in-house Directors’ workshops, toolbox (in field) talks for industrial employees and multi-day module based workshops for corporate staff.
RELEVANT PROJECTS • LGSA – Sustainable Choice – preparation of training materials and piloting of a suite of Training modules - developed with Seb Crawford (LGSA) and Colleen Wong (DECC) (2008) • National Centre for Sustainability, Swinburne – Preparation of training materials and delivery of pilot TAFE Certificate III program: “Implement and Monitor Sustainable Workplace Practices”; • NRM and EMS/EMP training for a range of industry sectors, including mining, industry and education; • Facilitation of community /consultative groups for various Hunter and Mid-Western projects in rural areas with local Councillors attending);
